Here are a few more examples of how to announce that your wedding has taken place. Wedding announcement wording will vary according to who is making the announcement and in this modern world we live in, there can be a number of variations.

 

If you are making the announcement yourselves then the following announcement text would be used:

and
Mr. John David Philips
announce their marriage

Alternatively if both parents wish to make the announcement then the following text would be used:

Mr. and Mrs. Henry George Hoarcross
and
Mr. and Mrs. David Philips
announce the marriage of

and
John David

Great Barton, Cheshire

Where the bride's parents are divorced and still wish to announce their daughter's wedding, then the following would be used:

Mrs. Susan Hoarcross
and
Mr. David Philips
announce the marriage of
Deborah Juliet
and
John David
5th November 2005

Great Barton, Cheshire
