Combermere Abbey a Very Special Place, For a Very Special Day

The Mrs2Be Venue of the month for August 2009 is the spectacular Glasshouse at Combermere Abbey

Combermere Abbey - The Glasshouse

Visit Combermere Abbey and step into a magical world steeped in history and romance - a world once ruled by Kings and Queens , where Knights in shining armour won the hearts of Princesses. Combermere Abbey was built in medieval times and carefully tended by monks, home to Lords of the Realm, Duchesses and Empresses for 875 years.

A beautifully restored Victorian gem

The estate, with its ancient and historic landscape, large mere and woods, sits on the borders of Shropshire and Cheshire , between the market towns of Nantwich and Whitchurch.  Since 1133, it has attracted and inspired many - its spectacular setting influencing both the residents and visitors alike.
